December 7, 2017 - Decibel Insight, a leader in digital experience analytics for enterprise businesses, has been named the Technology Business of the Year at the 2017 UK Startups Awards for its business momentum and work defining the industry standard for digital customer experience analytics. Representing the dawn of a new era in digital customer experience, Decibel Insight received the award for creating dozens of cutting-edge experience metrics and algorithmically-detecting user behavior to give brands the full picture of how users are behaving on a website.

In addition to this recognition, Decibel Insight was highly commended for the Startup of the Year award and commended for the Venture Funded Business of the Year award. These acknowledgements come on the heels of Decibel Insight’s $9 million Series A funding this past spring, and an increase in revenue by 250 percent and customer base by 100 percent year-over-year. To support this fast growth, the startup has doubled employee headcount across Boston, Denver and London.

Established in 2004 by Startups.co.uk, the Startups Awards is the UK’s longest-running awards to celebrate and champion the country’s most exciting, innovative and game-changing new businesses launched in the last four years. The Startups Awards has an industry-wide reputation for discovering and identifying startups that will evolve to become huge brands, market leaders, and, often, household names.

“The Decibel team has been hard at work for the past few years refining our technology and defining the category of digital customer experience, and we’re honored to be recognized for it,” said Decibel Insight CEO Ben Harris. “In the age of digital, brands can no longer afford to ignore the customer experience, or the bottom line will suffer. We’re proud to help brands deliver on that, and that the industry, as a whole, is being recognized by the Startups Awards.”

“Funded or not, big or smaller, London-based or not, there seems no end to the deep well of brilliantly innovative, determined and passionate entrepreneurs in the UK,” said Ian Wallis, editorial director for Startups.co.uk. “We’re in awe of what our finalists and entrants have achieved.”

Decibel Insight has received other accolades from renowned industry awards over the past year as well, including being shortlisted for Hottest Enterprise SaaS Startup at the TechCrunch-affiliated Europas Awards.
