At Decibel Insight we are always listening to feedback from our users and working as hard as possible to respond to and act on that feedback.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the addition of comments on Session Replays. It’s now easier than ever to collaborate with colleagues across one Decibel Insight account, or to make a note for your own use later.
To complement the familiar ‘Share’ function, which allows users to directly email a session replay recording even to non-account holders, comments enable users to draw attention to particularly interesting elements of a visitor’s journey.
Load up a session as usual and hit pause when you’ve reached the stage of the journey you wish to comment on. Simply hold down the left mouse button to drag and drop a text box over the desired piece of content, then type out your comment and hit save. It’s that easy!
Comments can be reviewed in the top progress bar. Red and blue blocks on the bar signify a visitor’s page loading and engagement times respectively, while any user comments made will appear as overlaid yellow lines. Simply click on these yellow lines to jump to the stage of the visitor journey that has been commented on.
