Since our last public changelog, we’ve been working harder than ever to make performance improvements and release new features to Decibel Insight. This post will pick out the most exciting developments we’ve been working on recently.

Enhanced Conversion Funnels

Identify the leaky parts of your site like never before! A whole host of improvements to Decibel Insight’s funnels makes them faster and easier to use.

Our most recent updates include the ability to segment funnels, rename funnel steps and apply them as segments in other reports, and clone existing funnels to speed up the creation of new ones. Moreover, performance of funnel reports has greatly improved.

Optimized Audience Segmentation

As well as having the new segmentation functionality in relation to funnels as mentioned above, the system for creating audience segments has been improved with a simplified, faster form and new criteria to choose from. And, like with funnel reports, the segment report has seen a big boost in performance, even for very large datasets.

Easy-to-Implement Goals

With our new updates, it now couldn’t be simpler to configure Goals to trigger when a specific element on the page is clicked on. You don’t need any on-page coding by your developers – simply define the HTML element that will trigger the Goal when clicked on and you’re all set.

We’ve updated our Implementation Guide to include the new Goal triggering mechanism, so check that out for a more detailed explanation into how to set them up.

And much more…

From improved integration with Adobe to functionality enhancements for Session Replay and Heatmaps, we’ve covered a lot of ground in this update. Indeed, as well as the key features mentioned above, a multitude of optimizations, bug fixes, client requests and interface improvements have been implemented too. For the full list, visit the changelog in the Decibel Insight app’s help section.
