Changelog – Aggregate Heatmaps, Video Support Tickets, Optimost Integration and Much More

Over the past few weeks, our tech team has been working hard making updates to the app. Here’s a quick rundown of our latest feature and performance updates.

Aggregate Heatmaps

To make it easier to analyse on-page activity across a number of pages, we have made changes to our Aggregate Heatmaps. If you use the same product page template for multiple products on your website for example, you can now create segments in the Aggregate Heatmap filter tab, where all relevant heatmap data can be rendered onto a single product page template.

Upload Videos to our Support Team

Sometimes you need more than words to explain an issue. We have now introduced the ability to upload videos with your support tickets. This feature enables you to show us any issue that you may be having in the app in real-time. All major video formats are supported.

OpenText Optimost Integration

Decibel Insight now integrates with OpenText Optimost. Any testing experiment that you have live in Optimost can be captured and segmented as variants in Decibel Insight. Optimost variants can be used to filter Heatmaps, Sessions, Forms and other features in Decibel Insight to get a more complete picture of your testing results.

And Much More

From improved performance of JavaScript Errors and other reports to the ability to trigger variations to the Generic A/B Testing integration, we’ve covered a lot of ground. We have also added links to relevant Knowledgebase articles which can be found in the top right corner of each screen to provide you with further information about each feature.

We'd love to know what you think of the latest updates to Decibel Insight, so send us an email or use the support function in the app. We respond to all requests we receive, and who knows – your idea may become the next new feature in Decibel Insight.
