Billed as THE Digital Marketing conference, this year’s Adobe Summit kicks off on March 21st in Sin City. It promises to be another unforgettable event with an agenda chock full of amazing keynotes and sessions that blend together the disciplines of marketing, optimization, analysis and testing into one cohesive event.

As an Adobe Premier Partner, we’re excited to be heading back as a Silver sponsor! To get the lowdown on what’s in store for attendees this year, I talked with Adobe Summit’s Event Marketing Manager Shay Barber.

How many years has Summit been running and how has it grown in that time?

"Adobe Summit has been happening for over a decade! We started Summit at Snowbird, a world-class ski resort in Utah, hosting just a few hundred attendees.

Looking to Adobe Summit 2017, we are expecting more than 12,000 people to join us at the second largest hotel in the world, The Venetian | Palazzo in Las Vegas, Nevada."

What makes Adobe different to other conferences?

"Adobe is a recognized leader in 17 analyst reports on digital marketing. At Summit our attendees are able to hear and learn from industry experts in our hands-on labs and sessions, network with the most innovative digital marketers, and visit with many of our cutting-edge partners. After a week of inspiration and learning, Summit attendees go home with more tips and tricks, and ready to make a difference. Of course, we include great entertainment and social opportunities along the way."

What would your advice be to a first-time attendee?

"If you’ve never attended Adobe Summit, do yourself a favour and come this year!

Come and learn about the evolution of marketing and how to become an experience business! My advice would be to attend all the sessions you can, have fun visiting our sponsors in the Community Pavilion, and don’t miss the Bash!"

What are you most looking forward to at this year’s event personally?

"So many things.

Personally, I am most looking forward to the dynamic speaker line up. The customers and celebrities we have in the General Sessions will wow you, and hopefully make you laugh a little too. Our expanded marketing innovations track will feature several thought leading presentations to really make you think about what the future for marketing may hold. And our sessions and labs will have even more actionable takeaways than ever before. Aside from all this great content, I’m excited for our attendees to experience some fun things we are creating in our Community Pavilion. And of course, I can’t leave out the Bash on Wednesday night. There will be lots of food and drink, along with amazing entertainment."
